Update on the pre-camp,1st day 2nd day 3rd day...kinda bored now :)

THE POST ON:

Ncc Part A Camp-As a specialist

LETS GO!!

P.R.E-Camp

Arrived at school at 4

went in

saw the other 16 specialists

all slacking around

Note:specialist = 18 guys whom finished sergent course at march,not those that finished in june in this post

Anyway

slacked until a spec shouted"SIR WANTS US!!!"

and we ran like dogs

then sir tan(MR TAN) told us that we had to type out proposal for what we gonna do

i was in charge of IFC Judging distances

so...

i showed my training aid(a vanguard sheet on judging distances)

the sirs (Sir Indra and Sir Anwar) looked at it

said 1 word

"redo"

i ran like dog to the opposite side of sch to get another vanguard

knn only had a hour to type proposal,build a tent for shi hao and redo training aid

lucky roger naufal wei heng sam shi hao and a bunch of others helped

if not i tio liao by sir

then finish le

arnd 7+8 liddat

went for a hawker dinner(whEE~)

then went kfc and met up with the other specs and sir tan and slacked

hm...

bought the necessary drinks (MILO etc...)

then went back

had a briefing by the sirs

then slept at 12+,1.

slept badly,cuz the others were making dumb sleeping jokes(too dirty to post)

k on to the start of NCC PART A CAMP!!!

DAY 1

Day started at 5.15

we waked up

brushed teeth

shitted AMAC(AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE)

cuz we know last time to shit b4 start

then went macdonald

then came back

then had ot wait for the sec ones

we went through the proposals and training aids again

and the CSM of the day was BEN(Note:CSM = Commanding Sergent Major,the guy that gets shit from the sirs if WE dont do well)

Ben also was the in charge for the ifc...

so when all the part A's arrived(met rachel and dayana and alvin when waiting for them)

ben launched into his speech

blah blah

then 1st station was the building of tents

i was a assistent(3 were)

i was the only guy whom knew how to tie the pegs to the tent

omg lah.....i was so scared for shi hao when the sirs knew cuz shi hao was the leader for the station

anyway

i showed the sec ones how do

4 times

and some traits of the sec ones were appearing,like

not listening

smart alecs

attidudes

wadeva

so me and shi hao and ben and nicholas(yes the 4 for the station) were strict for them after lunch

lunch consisted of mee hoon and lil shrimps-i ate very little.

so after lunch we made them build 2 companies to 1 tent.

1 company had 5 sec ones.

4 companies there-alpha charlie bravo delta

i was a cadet specialist for charlie-akmal was platoon sergent for charlie

so we bonded pretty much with them

anyway back to the building of tents

by then i noticed that brendon of bravo was rather uncoperative

however i did not really pick on him-he just needed some firm guidience and some encouragement.

So....

day dragged on to other IFC's and drills

shant elaborate on the IFC but i go into drills

Drills time-Platoon sergents and cadet specialist taught the sec ones Marching and stopping on march(berhenti)

wah!!!!

the charlie ar.....

-.- no comments

marching on time,berhenti after a few times nearly perfect

wad to say? damn proud

so...moving on

the sirs were not happy with the other sec ones,scolded them and found mistakes with them

ending the part A had to do 175 push ups

zzz im kinda like goddamn sad for the sec ones loh....

over there watching them sadly while they doing >.<

haiz...wad to do??

anyway

progressed into dinner

was a subdued affair

blah blah

then night time

watched movie

cats vs dogs

bla bla

slept and woke 5 times

hm...

then the sec ones went to brush up and me and akmal had a briefing with them


briefing consisted of just asking bout the camp so far and about us and stuff

then we washed face and went down to staff room for debrief by sirs

sirs had their "tekan face" on

a night of scolding

then night nearly turned to day....

then we went to bed

so tired

but bathed anyway,as pre camp i din bathe

so...

Day 2

judgement day-my day of teaching

SADISTIC!!

Day 2...

woke up

i slept badly again...

i think i spoke in my sleep-goddamned stressed

took some of frustrations at the sec ones-shouted at them in the morning

anyway everyone was shouting at them so i just did it...

>.< regretted it afterwords but wth.

so...morning i led charlie(with ben) on a circuit training

6 stations around the parade square,pushups(20),situps(20),star jumps(15)wide arm pushup(20)crunches(20)jumping jacks(20)

sec ones had to go 3 rounds around these stations

also after every station they had to run around parade sq 1 time

so...

18 rounds around parade square
60 pushups,situps,widearm pushups,junping jacks,crunches.
45 star jumps

:) and i did with them

anyway

sec ones damn tired after that

i just talked thrash with ben :l

then....breakfast

made some breakfast shitting jokes and milo(not going into detail)with roger and akmal

then csm of the day was samuel

lols.....

k then was time for judging distances

i prepared myself mentally and joined the rest at the parade square

splitted the sec ones into their platoons and i took then 1 at a time

talked to charlie first,followed by delta,then bravo then alpha.

taught them all i knew about the judging of distances

i think i was the best teacher to the sec ones as i was the least fierce and most fun(fun cuz they measure here and there and i made jokes)

so...

4 words

messed up big time

haiz...i forgot about unit of measure

anyway

later found out about blunder when setting test for sec ones

cuz after the teaching(2 hour) it was about 11,the sec ones had drills and ifc for another 2 hours

me ben and nicholas and shi hao went to set the tests

we went to library and setted test

my test had 4 questions

ben had some nicholas some shi hao some

compiled them into a paper

then the sirs later found MANY mistakes with the tests

for mine...

Question 4

2SG Ben was in a battle one day.His enemies are unknown.He wants to indicate his enemies to his allies.The radius for the battlefield is 350 M

Suggest which method to use and the process of using it(10M)

the sir just said

what are the enemies distance

and why is the question worth 10 marks?

also nicholas the test had alot of errors as well

ben's also

we spent the remaning hour correcting the test-1SG eugene helped us for nicholas also

for his test got 1 question the answer was printed there and also 1 answer was teh same,so 2SG eugene changed it to"fat people cannot run fast"

so...when presented the test to the sirs

we tio tekan again...

i dontwant go into detail-want to know ask me personally

by the time corrected the paper-we were 8 mins late

we sweating like siao and the csm(samuel) running back and forth every minute to tell us sir is damn angry

finally the papers were returned and the ppapers were sweaty and full of corrected questions(all done in pen ink)

then the sirs dropped a bombshell on me

"what is this"?

"sir this is the correc-"

"i mean,what is this word"?

"fal people fun rast??"

owned.....

"who did this"

"me sir"

"u better get this corrected-5 minutes.and your 5 minutes began 2 minutes ago"

i think he said this or smth,forgot much bout this as i had a nightmare at night over this

anyway...

done the test papers again

gave to the sec ones

then pratical was next

i was completely clueless for the pratical

and the sec 4's were shocked at my lack of knowledge of the topic i was teaching

i goddamn sweating and nervous

i feel i sweated my whole quota of sweat for 5 months for that day

anyway

the sec 4's helped,and i behaved like damn polite,cuz scared

so...they werent that harsh....

finished the test.

test consisted of:

judge the distance between you and 2sg wei heng.you have 15 seconds.

now go 2nd story building and judge the distance between you and 3sg ruliwan.you have 20 seconds.

anyway

most of them failed question two

and for the q and a,

list for me 10 factors that affect judgement for judging of distances.you have 40 seconds.do not elaborate.

most of them got 5 or 6 factors

anyway

i was shocked when one person got full marks for my station-he was from charlie

:) again,the only topic that had full marks came from my here:)))

haha boasting much

anyway i was damn proud of charlie loh...their ifc was superb!!

k then test finished,we had to mark the tests and compile the marks of the pratical

so...

dont wanna bore u with words

-dinner later then the rest due to marking
-briefing with the sec ones/discussion of performance night
-performance night started,sec ones performed rather ok/lamely(we also liddat last time)
-sec 3's did a performance of our lives from sec one to sec 3's
-ended our performance with a hentak kaki song
-played musical chairs
-ended performance night and debriefing and bathing for sec ones and us
-debrief lasted as long,slept at 2 again

haiz....dont wanna bore u all also,day 3 is a short one

Day 3..

woke up,

slept badly again

began with a warm up

then breakfast

then told the sec ones about the hike to bukit timah

sat on bus-ride took 40 mins

sec 3 and 4 slept all the way

then arrived,pretended to be fresh,must encourage the sec ones for this hike

hiked...alot of dirty terrian,alot of rocks,tree brunches and stuff to avoid

kinda dangerous

then me ben and akmal comparing sick stuffs along the way

then stopped at midway point for apple and completed the hike and had some more apples

then came down-the comparing went full force =X

compared everything :XXXXXXX

anyway

we kinda horny after the hike =X

hm...

rested and waited for bus to come

compared some more

then went back school

had IFC teaching and Tests

then revision

then i was assistent for shi hao

i helped revise too

cover and concealment and field signals

lala...

test ended

then packed bunk

then had out processing for sec ones

then best cadet and everything was presented to the part A's

i was damn proud of charlie-best cadet came from them

hm...

that is all...
